This recipe inspired by @savoreasy and @ohnino2 was so easy to do and turned out to be so soft, fluffy, and flavourful. Try it on your own to find out! Save it for later! 🌟

INGREDIENTS:

[Bun]

- 125ml water

- 125ml fresh milk

- 1 egg

- 2 tsp instant yeast

- 405g all-purpose flour

- 50g sugar

- 1 tsp salt

- 43g softened butter

- Olive oil

[Cream Cheese filling]

- 200g cream cheese

- 2 tbsp sugar

- 3 tbsp heavy cream

[Garlic Butter sauce]

- 120g melted salted butter

- 1 egg

- 1-2 tbsp condensed milk

- 2 tbsp heavy cream

- 2 tbsp minced garlic

- 1 tbsp chopped parsley

[Egg Wash]

- 1 egg

- 2 tbsp fresh milk

STEPS:

[Bun]

1. Mix water, fresh milk, egg, and instant yeast with a whisk.

2. Mix in flour, sugar, and salt with a spatula.

3. Press into a dough, cling wrap cover and let it rest for 10 mins.

4. Knead and fold for 15 mins. Coat olive oil in bowl and on dough ball. Cling wrap cover and let it rest till double in size or for 1 hour.

5. Press to remove gas and knead for 1 min.

6. Cut into 8 pieces and shape each piece into a ball. Put on baking sheet, cover and let them rise for 1 hour.

[Cream Cheese filling]

1. Smoothen cream cheese with a spatula.

2. Mix in sugar with spatula until sugar dissolves.

3. Mix in heavy cream with whisk until smooth.

4. Place in piping bag, set aside.

[Garlic Butter sauce]

1. Mix melted salted butter and egg with whisk.

2. Mix in condensed milk and heavy cream with whisk.

3. Mix in garlic and parsley until uniform.

[Bun]

1. Mix egg and milk and coat on bread dough.

2. Bake bread dough in preheated oven at 180C for 15-20 mins.

3. Let bread cool completely.

4. Slice into 6 sides. Remember don't cut through the bread.

5. Fill the insides of the bread with cream cheese filling.

6. Either dip or drizzle garlic butter sauce over the bun.

7. Bake at 170C for 15 mins.

The bread will come out so soft and fresh. My whole family loved it, and my hubby also thinks it is much nicer than bakery ones. 🥖😊
