1 For 1 HALAL BUFFET?!?!?!😱

1 for 1 HALAL buffet?!?!? Its a rare find. My boyfriend and I decided to try this halal buffet located at The Malayan Council @ Fullerton Road. A venue with great ambience along the streets of Singapore River, PERFECT for indulging a buffet. With a wide range of menu buffets from Lunch, High Tea & Dinner sets at a different price range!

We decided to opt for the Lunch Buffet which costs us $74.30 (inclusive of Service Charge + GST) for only 2 pax! (with a 1 for 1 offer only on WEEKDAYS)

🍡Malay cuisine

The satay was definitely a highlight for me — the chicken and mutton satay were juicy, soft & well marinated! Cant forget the satay peanut sauce, with the perfect amount of sweetness and saltiness! They were so indulgent and delicious, we couldn’t resist going back for seconds!!🤤

🍜Noodle station

The noodle station had 2 options, Chili Padi Aglio Olio with Duck and Singapore Laksa. The Laksa was abit lackluster to my disappointment but the chili padi aglio lio with duck is something to die for😭🤤It had a combination taste of spicy sweet & salty, definitely unique and something we would come back for. Definitely a must try!!!

🍞Roti Jala Station

This was the first station my boyfriend and I went to. The roti jala is made fresh to order and the SUP TULANG is sooo damn good. Enhanced with strong mutton taste stewed in sweet and not so spicy red soup!

🦐 Seafood on Ice (Mussels, Clams & Prawns)

The seafood were served chilled on ice and provided with lemons and dressing Thai Ginger Garlic sauce.

It was fresh, tender and refreshing, clearly highlighting the quality of the seafood.

🍦Dessert

For us personally, the dessert station is the most standout item in the buffet with various types of classic malay kuehs (putri salad, kaswi kuih, bubur hitam), modern cakes (carrot cake, madeleines, chocolate ovomaltine) to a station that provides you fresh waffles with various toppings!

And for durian lovers, the durian cake & pengat are something to die for😭😭😭😭

They also provide their own ice cream machine with only 2 limited flavours, vanilla and chocolate.
