WAGYU in JB?! (4.9 stars on Google Reviews 😱)

Heyyo wassup homies it’s chiobu here! Neko and I had such a good time celebrating my birthday in JB and we went in again for his birthday haha!

We had some A5 Wagyu which was sososo awesome and I must share about this experience with my fellow homies 💯

What made this place a WIN:

💗 WAGYU beef of course!

We ordered the premium sirloin (RM158), premium rib loin (RM136), zaputon (RM128) and momo (RM68) 🤤 so tender and tasty omg! If you’re on a budget just go for the momo bc it’s also rly good!

💗 Yuzu sorbet (RM12)

Tastes like the dessert they give at biap haha. It really helps to wash down the greasiness of the beef :)

The wagyu was a 9/10, but the whole experience was made a 10/10 because of Aaron 😭 Aaron has been working at yakiniku restaurants for 15 years, and can tell that he loves his job! He helped to cook most of the meats on his own and paired the meats with sauces that went well :) he really has magic hands, his skill with cooking the meats is the best 💯

Can try:

😊 Mentaiko scallops (RM28)

Mentaiko was well made and scallops were fresh, but a bit small!

Can skip:

🤔 Ebi tempura (RM28)

Several large prawns but batter was quite mediocre and not deep fried long enough.

🤔 Beef fat garlic fried rice (RM18)

Not fantastic as it was quite dry ): beef fat was also on the chewier side! Aaron saved it by introducing their homemade green sambal to us to pair with it, but I think can skip!

🤔 Chawamushi (RM8)

Kinda bland ):

Ngl this place is definitely pricey, but it’s worth it for the quality of the beef. If you cut out all the other random mediocre food items it’ll be much cheaper too! Service by Aaron, the most hands-on manager ever, was also really impactful ☺️ defo a MUST GO for special occasions!
