Trying authentic Shannxi food!

Heard there was a hidden gem for Chinese food at clementi, had to check it out- Huang Tu Di XI’AN Delights 黄土地西安小吃

I am a sucker for good Chinese food especially noodles. While I am no expert, by the look of the mostly Chinese expats crowd, looks like it is pretty authentic. They menu is mostly noodles with side dishes with bang bang noodle being their famous dish (minced pork, tomato egg, chilli oil mix). Noodles are all handmade, they have hand pulled noodles, wide noodle, knife cut noodles. Fancy stuff. I tried their oil spilled noodle (basically hot chilli oil drizzled over noodles) and it was really filling though I probably should have gotten the spicier options for my flavours. The one that stole the show had to be the braised pork meat bun. There’s an option for lean meat but treat yo self. For $5.50 The juicy bun is super worth it.

It’s all pretty affordable and the portion size are generous. It’s $8 for a huge bowl of noodle that I share between two people. If you dont mind the travel all the way to the west then this is the place for good comfort Chinese food. 5/5 for the food 😋
