Mornings can definitely be chaotic for us. I struggled getting my oldest awake and ready to go out the door without feeling rushed. Every morning started with anxiety about how much I have to do in so little time!

Since my 3 month old started sleeping through the night, I have been trying to wake up at 6:00 am to get a head start on the day. It has helped lower my anxiety and allows me to enjoy my mornings!

First thing after I wake up is I make sure to drink at least 16oz of water. I drink tons of water throughout the day so I love getting a head start to wake my body up.

Around 6:15 I do a 30 minute workout (I aim to workout 3 days a week). My routine switches between walking/running on an incline on the treadmill, or strength training.

After my workout I will brew a pot of coffee so it’s ready for my husband when he leaves to drop my daughter off at my in-laws. I’m obsessed with white chocolate peppermint coffee creamer right now!

Once 7:30 rolls around, my daughter has been dressed and is ready to play with her cousins all day.

By 7:45 my youngest is awake, and we start our first wake window together! I’ll change her into her outfit for the day, we sing some songs, drink a bottle, then play.

Do you ever feel rushed in the mornings? Waking up before my babies has helped me in so many ways, I genuinely recommend trying it for a few days to see the positive changes it can bring ☀️
