What is happening ????

I graduated in 2023. I still follow my high schools page on Facebook and I woke up to my mom sending me this. At first I thought it was some joke because what lol. But no. The school actually posted it and the city page reposted it. I used to get in trouble every morning for bringing coffee and drinking it BEFORE SCHOOL IN THE PARKING LOT. but now they’re just giving it out? They also denied people in my class repainting the walkways for their senior project saying that it’s too much upkeep but the class of 24 was able to do it. It’s just annoying because so many people asked to do it. And the rules just said the first person that asked would be able to do it, but the teacher told us no.

Edit to say: I know things change my thing is they told my class all about how unhealthy it was and how caffeine is addictive. I totally understand that and all of their reasons, but with those same reasons they shouldn’t change things to now be giving coffee away in the mornings.
