How I’m coping with this new reality 💗

Recently, I realised as the years goes by my friends groups have become smaller and smaller. Hence, I started wondering, could it be true that we really have lesser and lesser friends as we age?

Why? After much pondering I feel it could be attributed to a few reasons

1️⃣Time Constraints: As we grow, we tend to have more responsibilities and commitments, leaving us with less time and energy to maintain friendships

2️⃣Change in life goals and values: We start having different perspective/ interest, making it difficult to meetup for common activities

3️⃣Different stage of life: We have different priorities now and it kinda leads to lesser common interest/ topics to talk about

With that, I realised its actually important to get comfortable with alone time! (ALONE DOES NOT MEAN LONELY) & recently i have also started out to my close friends I have lose contact with! Just because we stopped talking doesn't mean we cant start talking again!!

Anyone in the same predicament as me? Lmk your thoughts on this!
