Unpopular opinion: you’re gonna get stretch marks

Ditch the creams, the oils, the lotions galore, you’re probably going to get at least one stretch mark no matter how much you do or spend to try to avoid it.

My first *full term* pregnancy I used oils and special creams and butters and lotions throughout my whole pregnancy and you want to know what I ended up with in the end? Tiger stripes.

Some women are more genetically predisposed to getting them, and with how much your body changes and shifts and grows to accommodate that sweet little life of yours, it’s *almost* impossible to avoid getting at least a handful of stretch marks.

By all means, moisturize. Stretched skin can be itchy and keeping your skin moisturized will alleviate some of that. But the special creams and oils? Not worth it so much, in our opinion.
