Struggling with high cortisol? Many of us are. You can do these to help lower your cortisol. I have used these techniques myself so I know they work. I use to wake up super anxious, with a bloated stomach and had irregular cycles. Does this sound like you? Try these steps and they should help.

Wake up and get morning sunlight. Within 5 minutes of waking up step outside for 5-15 mins and soak up the sun.

Meditation for 15 minutes. I like to use an app for this or YouTube is a free option. Try to really focus in on your meditations and make sure its a quiet space so you can truly focus

Movement/workout for 30 minutes a day. Go on a walk, workout at home or try some yoga. Just make sure you are moving your body everyday.

Nutritious Breakfast. Work on eating a healthy breakfast & incorporating 20-30 grams of breakfast a meal. Try adding avocado, turkey or chicken to your egg or toast. I like to do this when I need more protein. I also like to make protein pancakes. They are so good also!

Take a cold shower. If you have a hard time with this start with 30 seconds and move your way up. This will relax your body and mind.

EFT tapping is known to help with reducing stress. Look this up on YouTube.

L theanine is a good supplement to help with stress. Try this.

Epsom salt bath. This relaxes the body and mind. Putting you at ease. Just add some bubble bath soap and truly enjoy.

Limit caffeine as this can bring you anxiety.

Get 8-9 hours of sleep a night

Take supplements like fish oil and ashwagandha

Practice relaxation techniques.
