This is a hearty and nutritious savoury oatmeal dish that combines the goodness of rolled oats, tofu, egg and fresh vegetables making it high in protein and fibre. It's easy to prepare and perfect for a quick and healthy meal. 😋
🍅 TOMATO EGG SAVOURY OATMEAL 🥚
INGREDIENTS
50g Rolled Oats
1 Tomato, chopped
1 Green onion, chopped
1 Tofu, cube
1 Lettuce, chopped
1 Egg
1.5 Bowls of water
Salt & MSG (or chicken powder) to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
▫️Prepare all the ingredients.
▫️In a hot pot, add oil and scramble the egg. Transfer it to a bowl and set aside.
▫️In the same pot, add the tomato and cook until mushy.
▫️Add the white part of the green onion and stir-fry until fragrant.
▫️Pour 1.5 bowls of water into the pot and let it boil.
▫️Once boiled, add the tofu and rolled oats. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
▫️After 5 minutes, add the scrambled egg and lettuce, and cook for another 1 minute.
▫️Add salt and MSG to taste.
▫️Garnish with the green part of the green onion on top. Serve and enjoy!
