nailing your scholarship application can be a challenge — but jc fees are 🆙 and scholarships can really help to ease that financial burden. here’s how i managed to secure my scholarship in just 3 easy steps!💰

1. ask your seniors 🗣️

get your older friends to fill you in on any important information i.e. applicant to recipient ratio/number of scholars in previous batches. this’ll help you to foster realistic expectations!

ask for essay examples as a reference for formatting/content, and ask about the interview process to gauge the kinds of questions you’ll be asked & what to read up on or study (if needed).

2. use moe’s website 🔍

this one’s pretty self-explanatory — head over to moe’s website to find information on individual scholarships. read up on criteria for eligibility, additional requirements, how to apply, etc.

do also take note of relevant time frames (when shortlisted applicants will be informed, release of results, etc.) 🕰️!

3. highlight your strengths 📃

you’re going to have to stand out from the likes of other applicants in order to impress the board! your essay should showcase your most relevant experiences and amplify 🔥 the passion you have for the field.
