Dates are a gemstone I happened to discover when pregnant with my first child but I did not like the taste at first. With my second, I did some digging on dates and was SHOCKED at how amazing they are for us. That's when I experimented with recipes and fell in love with them and literally buy a bag of the every week now.

Dates are so good for us and here are some cool benefits of eating dates:

They are high in calories but they do so much for your body and for myself and many people Ive heard as well, the sweetness they have curbs cravings for other sweet things. So in the end the calories don't really matter because instead of processed ice cream, I eat 2-3 dates and reap tons of health benefits.

If you don't like the taste of plain dates you can try adding them to banana breads, smoothies, cookies, etc. I love these peanut butter chocolate dates. 🤤❤️ I also made date bars before too with protein powder which were soooo good! I can share that another day. Yummmm!
