✨Lesser-known East Side Cafe✨: Supernova Cafe ☕️

To my fellow Easties, here’s a lesser-known cafe you’ve gotta check out! Even if you’re a Westie or Northie etc, you won’t regret heading to the east side for this cafe 😉

Based on my visit, I was really impressed with the quality of food! I must say, some cafes don’t feel very worth because they just throw together a plate of all-day breakfast with no innovation or creativity. But Supernova adds a twist to all their brunch dishes - which definitely gains some brownie points from me 👍🏼🔥

Here’s what we ordered:

1. Steak Hash 🤤

- If you’re a lover of beef steak just like I am, you’ll love this dish. Not only are the beef cubes tender and juicy, the mix of ingredients that goes into this dish just complements it so well! There’s fresh kale and red onions, grilled chunks of crisp potato as well as two sunny side ups! 🤩 Truth be told, you can try replicating this dish at home. But for its creativity and quality, I’m giving this a high rating for sure!

2. Fried Chicken French Toast 🍞

- I’ve heard of fried chicken waffles, but French toast? Not really. So I’m gonna give it to them because DAMN did this dish slap! The fried chicken was huge and super crispy! The meat was also tender ‼️ And the toast… was thick and fluffy 🤤 But in general, I’m still biased to sweet French toast instead of savoury 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️

3. Baked Eggs 🍳

- This is actually #1 ! There’s another version of baked eggs. For the one we ordered, it came with smoky bacon, truffle mushrooms, spinach, cauliflower mash, organic eggs and topped with a focaccia bread. I mean wow, so many things mixed into one dish. And the best part is… ITS UNIQUE 🤩🤩 Loved how everything really came together so it deserves a high rating as well.

The coffee ☕️ we ordered was pretty good as well!! You can have a choice of fruity and adventurous beans or a dark chocolate kind of tasting nodes! Love how they also have a range of filter coffee you can opt for!

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience there!! We opted for the outdoor seats, which was quite an alfresco setting‼️Thank goodness it was breezy and nice that morning 💨

If you’re looking for a new cafe spot to go for brunch, this is definitely a must-try! I think it’s quite pricey, but for the quality and creativity of the food - I’d think it’s quite worth to try!
