Classical Date Night at Victoria Concert Hall 🎻

Looking for unique date night ideas? Love classical music? Check out Singapore Symphony Orchestra ! We chanced upon their ad and decided to get tickets for one of their concerts, and boy was it a magical night ✨

The music quality isn't like anything you've never heard before, the whole experience was different from any other, just you and your partner sitting in silence - listening to the tiny sounds of each individual instrument, all come together into one harmonious song - soaking all that in 🎶

I loved it so much that I came back a few times now to watch their other concerts with friends. Being Singapore's own flagship orchestra, they have various themed concerts regularly held at the Victoria Concert Hall (home of the SSO), and for bigger concerts - at the Esplanade Theater.

Types of concerts they have includes:

🎵Orchestra Season - their main concert series, featuring their in-house orchestra

🎵 VCHpresents - chamber & organ music, showcase guest performers too

🎵 Choral - choir performances by Singapore Symphony Choir, Youth Choir and Children's Choir

🎵 Others - family (kids-friendly) concerts, young performers' concerts, or even themed-Pop night.

Although I admit this experience isn't for everyone - I am able to appreciate it because I play classical instruments myself (while my boyfriend almost fell asleep 🤦🏻‍♀️), but I do think that everyone should come once in their life. Then after or before the concert you can totally take cute pictures in front of the neo-classical 1905 - Victoria Concert Hall one of SG's oldest performing art venues 🏛
