Study spot in Chinatown Cafe!!

Trying out this new cafe in Chinatown — Grids!!

Love the cute aesthetics and illustrations around the cafe, and theres 2 floors with ample seats. It is also Japanese inspired, thus they sell sandos, ochazuke etc!!

Here’s what we ordered!

🥪 Lox-ness Sando $16

Smoked salmon sando with cream cheese and various vegetabkes included!

Nice combination but there was nothing special, plus we really waited super long thus it didn’t really feel that anazing

🍟 Loaded Mentaiko Fries $14

Big bowl of fries— REALLY LOADED!!

Topped with mentaiko sauce and tobiko and nori! Pretty generous with the sauces and toppings, so at the end it was a bit too salty, but still taste good!

We went on a Saturday afternoon, which was actually really crowded! So if you want to work / study, maybe not a good timing to go on weekends :’)

We actually had to wait quite a long while (more than 30 mins) for our sando to arrive :(
