Hello ๐ค Today, I would to share a quaint little cafe in the West of Singapore, Glass Roasters. The cafe boasts a retro-meets-rustic ambiance which proves to be a super aesthetic spot for photo taking. While they don't offer full meals, their coffee is exceptionally good. If you're craving a snack, the cafe shares its space with Cloud Faber, a spot that serves gelato and Mochi Waffle โ๏ธ

โง Iced Taro Latte - $7.50
โง Iced Latte - $6.00
โง Toasted Banana bread - $6.00
โง Tokyo Mochi Waffle - $7.90
It was my first time trying Mochi Waffles, and I wasn't sure what to expect. The waffles were on the thinner side with a chewy texture. They tasted good, but I would probably still go for the normal fluffy waffles next time!
On the other hand, the range of ice cream flavors at Cloud Faber werenโt your typical flavours. I tried Fresh Mint Chocolate, Sakura Smoke, Artichoke & Pear Compote. Honestly, I couldn't discern the flavors mentioned in the names, but the chocolate peppermint was pretty good, offering a unique tea-infused ice cream experience, while the Pear, tasted more like Raisins which was #NotForMe
As for the coffee, it was really good and the banana bread was toasted to perfection. It tasted light and fluffy with a good balance between sweetness and banana flavour.
Although Glass Roasters may not be the most conveniently located cafe, they have another branch in Tiong Bahru, which I'm eager to explore next time!

NatNat
