Consumerism & lemon8

I think the main reason I find myself not enjoying this app too much is because of how hard it is to cater it to my own likes and interests. Additionally I think this app prioritizes consumerism to an extreme. Being on this app feels like walking into a target. It’s just so much of what I should buy and things I need to change about myself and it’s so incredibly stressful. I’ve been looking for a social media app where I am not constantly flooded by ads and inauthenticity but this app essentially feels like the epitome of that. Idk
