<2HR DRIVE TO A SKII RESORT FROM SEOUL ⛷️

this place was one of the most popular place for koreans to travel to during the winter. Locating only around 2 to 3 hour away from seoul, it is a hotspot for skii and snowboarding.

My friends and I wanted to head to the skii mountains on the last minute and hence was intrigued to try out the place! We booked our reservation of the tour on Klook for an estimate of $120 per person. The tour includes to and fro bus transport, skii or snowboard rentals and a teaching coach if you are interested in learning or am a beginner. At the beginning, we were tasked to meet at the meet up spot in the early morning to head to the skii rental place. The rental was about 10 mins away from the resort, so you will be given a short briefing on the safety details as well as all your skii outfits. At this place you can purchase your gloves, socks, or neck warmers. Upon taking all your items, you’ll head to the resort itself.

Because we went on a weekend (which i do not recommend you to do so), the place was fully fully packed to the brim! It was so crowded with people snowboarding and skiing, that it took such a long time for us to head to the snow slopes. There were an estimate of 5/6 slopes each with their different difficulty levels. However our experience was that it took much much longer to queue than to skii down the slope. It was a minimum of 30 minutes to queue for the lift up the slope - which was not pleasant at all - as we had a limited amount of time at the resort itself.

Overall I really enjoyed myself and personally felt that they were a variety of slops available for everyone even kids! Plus it is located quite near to seoul which makes it convenient to head to. Would recommend you to go to but just that I’d say to go on a weekday to save time on the queuing situation
