How to Use Leftover Holiday Candy Canes

𝙻𝚎𝚏𝚝𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝙲𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚢 𝙲𝚊𝚗𝚎 𝚁𝚎𝚌𝚒𝚙𝚎 🎄If you like me have leftover candy canes from the holidays and want one recipe to use most of them up then this is for you. You can turn them into a syrup for your coffee, tea and cocktails! 🍸 🥃🧊🥂🧋 This can be done with other candies too. 🍭🍬

Step 1:

Unwrap 12 large or 24 mini candy canes and break into smaller pieces.

Step 2:

Add to medium sized pot with 1/4 Cup water.

Step 3:

Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Step 4:

Allow to cool slightly before storing in a glass container.

I use this as a latte syrup for my morning latte with cold foam and to sweeten English breakfast tea. #lemon8food @Lemon8 Food
