hilton $108++ dinner buffet: worth it? 🥂🤔

Visited Estate @ Hilton Hotel Orchard for their Dinner buffet for my bf dad's birthday dinner! At $108++ per adult (Friday - Saturday), they served a wide spread of international cuisine. We didn't even manage to try everything, but here’s some highlights of what we had:

🦪 Raw & Seafood Bar - Absolute must-have and what I always start with at every buffet. The seafood selection includes raw oysters, prawn, clams and king crab. Sashimi-wise, it was strangely located at another corner. The selection wasn’t a lot but has the usual staples of Salmon & Tuna which is honestly good enough for me.

🦆Black Truffle Roasted Duck - My favourite dish here. One of their signatures here and must-try item.

🍜Noodle Kitchen - My next favourite is their Squid Ink Homemade Gluten-Free Tagliatelle with Octopus Confit. Added some peeled prawns on my own and was absolutely blown away… rarely see handmade pastas at buffets and this just hits the spot. The other Asian style selection is the Cantonese-style Wagyu Beef Noodles - not too shabby, but expected the noodles to be more Q.

🍢Grill Kitchen - Asian-inspired skewers including chicken, pork and beef - nothing too special but these were grilled and charred perfectly, the smokey flavour was on point.

🍮 Desserts - 6 different types of dessert jars, including Tiramisu, Banana Panna Cotta, Hazelnut Paste Choux, Torched Citron Tart, Latte Mille-Feuille. Favourite was the Tiramisu as others were too sweet for me. They also served artisanal cakes, TWG tea and coffee - perfect to end the meal.

Other honourable mentions for food are their roasted beef, stir-fried clams with omelette and butter chicken with biryani.

Verdict: For the quality and variety, I will be back to celebrate special ocassions, but will rather be back on Sundays to Wednesdays when it is $88++ per adult instead.
