Sleepy Hollow

We took a day trip from NJ to Sleepy Hollow🩶

The first thing we noticed was how there was a scarecrow in every block and they were all uniquely styled and even had their own name which i personally would’ve taken the whole day just looking at all of them.

Our first stop was Scenic Hudson RiverWalk Park at Tarrytown and we took our time walking around enjoying the view and taking beautiful pictures. We were truly lucky it was such a beautiful day with the perfect weather. We also planned the next few hours looking at the map and deciding where to go.

The Main Street had sooo many restaurants to choose from but we decided to go to Lefteris Gyro and we were so happy with our choice, the food was amazing and the place looked fancy even though the prices weren’t bad at all.

Lastly, we went to Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, a must if you’re coming to this town! We walked around a lot and were looking for the oldest tomb. We found one from the 1700s, but many others were so old that the engravings were hard to see.

I wish we could’ve stayed longer but it was definitely worth the trip and I would love to go back and learn more about the history of Sleepy Hollow!
