One thing Iβve been on the lookout for in Singapore, is good quality DIPS. A good, smooth, delicioussss hummus, a smoky baba ghanoush, a refreshing & balanced tzatziki.
Was really stoked to have dinner at The Prince and enjoyed the stuff we got! Iβm not an expert in Middle Eastern food, and I know everyone has their own preferences when it comes to food. So just keep that in mind when reading food posts ~
The Prince (formerly Fat Prince) | Modern Arabic & Middle Eastern Restaurant
Tldr: itβs pricey but Iβd still go back on special occasions if Iβm craving Middle Eastern cuisine.
Our favourite dishes from that night:
Hummus (I think with beetroot). Actually tasty and smooth hummus. Freshness of ingredients really comes through.
Pumpkin baba ganouj. Tasty & smoky.
Grilled octopus. Just enough bite, just enough tenderness. I wanted more but the dish ended really quickly (I.e. it was real smol hehe).
24-hr wagyu beef cheek. Super soft & melt in mouth meat. I liked the acidity from the salad that helped balance the richness of the dish. The mashed parsnip was quite neutral, tasted like apple sauce but not in a bad way.
Price: $60-70 per pax without drinks
