Affordable place for fabric shopping 🛍️

This probably isn’t a secret place and nobody is gatekeeping this but i thought i should share it with everyone here because when i first started out, i was super lost and didn’t know where to find all these places, lots of googling back then 😩

(i have a small business that sells scrunchies and other accessories @fairyberry.co but i’m not very consistent with it and my 2023 goal is to improve and work on it more!)

Anyways, if you’re in need of fabric for whatever reason, you need to head down to People’s Park Complex at Chinatown Level 2 onwards! It is where all the fabric stores are located at and i can always spend my whole day there 😭

I usually buy my fabric from Maggie Textile but there are a lot of different stores offering different types of design and price range. Sometimes they sell quite a lot of similar stuff so it depends where you want to spend your money 😅

Another highly recommended store will be Lye Nai Shiong. They sell all the sewing knick knacks like threads and zippers and a lot of other stuff. I might do another post just for their store. They are available online also if you can’t make it down to their physical store!
