What is empathy?

Empathy is a skill.

•It is sitting with someone in their darkness and feeling with them.

•It is understanding their emotions, but not trying to fix them.

•It is putting yourself in their shoes.

•It is showing the other person they are not alone.

•It is hard, vulnerable, and uncomfortable. But it is the most rewarding skill.
