A simple twist on the super popular korean street snack tteokbokki!l It only takes about 15 minutes for preparation and cooking time which makes it ideal for a quick meal fix.
Ingredients:
korean rice cakes
fish cake (optional)
ramen/ any other noodles
spring onions
mozzarella cheese
gochujang (1.5 tbspoon)
oyster sauce (1/2 tbspoon)
honey/sugar (1 tbspoon)
red pepper flakes (1/2 tbspoon)
black pepper
1.5 cups water
Directions:
1. Create the sauce by adding gochujang, oyster sauce, honey, red and black pepper into a pan with 1.5 cups of water
2. Add in the rice cakes and let it cook
3. Add in the noodles and spring onions in when rice cakes has softened to your liking
4. Use more water if there is not enough tteokbokki sauce
5. Add in the grated mozzarella cheese and cover the pan till melted
6. Add your choice of garnish
