It is so important to eat up and fuel your body especially when you are exercising heavily! Leg days are super important to me. I try to eat a good amount of protein with each meal and although I don’t track calories, I eat till I’m full and burn it up fast on lifting days.

I start every day with a glass of water and then greens. I am currently drinking 1st Phorm’s Opti Greens. Then, my favorite part of the day is protein coffee! It is the most perfect way, in my opinion, to get in protein and start your day on track with your protein goals. 1st Phorms Level 1 protein gives me 23 grams of protein and mixes super well in hot milk. I use oat milk, froth it together, then brew espresso over top.

I have been on a smoothie kick lately! I add whatever fruits and leafy greens I have on hand. Then I add Greek yogurt for protein and to make it creamy. I have also been adding oats to make it more filling.

I recently tried a pesto chicken pasta and have been loving it! I use chick pea pasta and chicken for the main sources of protein here. Mozzarella cheese also has a high protein content. I add in tomatoes and mix the pesto with greek yogurt to create the sauce and for more protein. This is super yummy and also filling.

For dinner I had such a craving for BLT so that's exactly what I had! More protein, veggies, carbs and fats for a well rounded wrap.

When I eat well rounded and enough protein, I can always feel it in my workouts. It is so important!
