HOW MUCH OUR MISCARRIAGE COST 👼🏻

This is by far the most painful and devastating situation I've ever experienced. The emotional and physical toll of a miscarriage is indescribable, and no one even talks about the financial component.

I showed up for surgery and the woman said we owed $3,061 before I could even go back for surgery. We asked to wait until insurance processed, but of course insurance is a game no one truly understands so the woman stated this was my responsibility of payment after insurance had been applied. SO, we had to pay in upfront in order to even get the procedure.

The financial costs associated with a D&C needs to be talked about more. Thankfully, we had the money saved, but I couldn't imagine the additional stress and emotional toll that would've added to an already awful experience.
