Overcoming Past: Embracing Self-Healing ✨

I'm just a girl in this grown-up body. I had to grow up so fast, being the oldest of four. My mom was a single mother; she worked two jobs and went to school. The crazy thing is, she gave me all that responsibility to still be the same thing she was back in the day. Today, I'm trying my hardest to unlearn old habits and learn new ones. It's the hardest thing I've had to do. Controlling my emotions is tough, and when I think I'm doing well, it's all written on my face. I'm hurting a man who loves me so much, but I'm stuck on the idea of my mother giving up on me. Why wouldn't he?

I need to stop self-sabotaging myself. I deserve happiness. So, I'm taking steps to better myself. I'm going to quit smoking and start therapy after I get my first check. I hate how my childhood trauma affects me in adulthood. Unfortunately, at this moment, I don't know myself yet.
