The Butcher’s Dining is certainly one of the cooler-looking concepts I came across in Singapore, which consists of a butchery, retail store, and in-house cafe all in one.
Going on a Saturday night without a reservation was a bad idea, as the place was packed and it operates only on a reservation basis at night. However, the staff there was very friendly and allowed us to place our orders before getting a table which we did after waiting for over an hour. So, please do make a reservation through their Instagram DMs if you are planning to head there on a weekend night!
The Old School Duroc Pork Cutlet ($25.80) is a must-try item and do note that the portion is massive, so this would be a good sharing item for two! The pork cutlet was succulent and was a good match with the Korean-style sauce it came with. Although I would have liked it if the rice portion was larger to be shared with the cutlet. We also had the Double Cheeseburger ($18.90), which my friends tried and mentioned that the beef patties were pretty flavourful. For dessert, we got the Jeju Tangerine Pound Cake ($5.90) which was soft and moist.
The cafe vibes at night were really immaculate, and my friends and I really enjoyed the cozy dining experience at TBD.
