QUAINT CAFE SERVING THICK OVERSTUFFED SANDOS

Tucked away in a little corner of Everton Park, 46 Mittsu is a cafe that serves up a variety of thick, ingredient packed sandwiches 🥪 and coffee ☕️.

📍Location and vibe:

About 10mins walk from Outram Park mrt, or probably more accessible by bus. It’s a small cafe with limited seating and camping-style chairs, so it might be better to takeaway instead, or avoid peak hours to get a seat.

What we ordered and pictured here -

Firebird ($15), a Korean-inspired sando featuring gochujang fried chicken, purple slaw, and a sunny side up. The flavours are great and the fried chicken is THICC. I’d say it’s very mild spicy so anyone should be able to take it. As it’s fried it can get heavy towards the end so highly recommend sharing this with someone if possible.

Chamwich ($15), blackforest ham, cheese, hash brown, sunny side up with onion raisin jam. Love the combi of the ham & cheese with hash brown! Honestly it’s so filling… I could barely move on to my second half.

Heard they are well known for their BEC sando (bacon egg cheese) and I’m definitely heading back to try this next. 🥓🍳🧀

Overall a sandwich heaven but just wish they had more proper seating so it’ll be a nicer place to hang with friends. Also reminds me a lot of Two Men Bagel House (read that some of the founders were from there), and honestly both places are comparable.
