sandos are NOT OVERRATED.

was never about the sando hype, and never understood why people were so obsessed with them, but after today’s brunch…i think i know why.

my friend suggested that we meet at 46 Mittsu, a small cafe nestled beneath a HDB building in tanjong pagar! thank god i don’t stay there, if not i wldve probably spent all my savings buying sandos from them every morning. ☀️

the staff were really welcoming and friendly as well, and recommended that we try the FIREBIRD, B.E.C and SAUSAGE FEST. but we were afraid we couldn’t finish 3 sandos so we settled with the B.E.C and the Rick & Tomorty, a choice i had set my eyes on even before i arrived at the cafe. 🥪

ngl the sandos were HUGE and as one who prefers to eat with utensils, devouring this felt like a hassle, but it tasted so good that i just forgot about it. the bread was soft and fluffy, and the ricotta cheese went perfectly with the juicy tomatoes 🍅 and fresh avocado 🥑! the B.E.C was another banger, packed with creamy scrambled eggs, cheese and tHICK-cut bacon 🥓 …. it was a sinfully indulgent meal. (kinda get why the staff recommended 3 sandos cuz i think 2 wasn’t enough HAHA)

we sat on the outdoor chairs and initially i was a lil worried that we would get warm but there was so much breeze which kept us cool! we sat there comfortably for 2 hours~ 😎

so if you’re looking for a spot to chill with your besties or just hangout, make sure save this space for your next cafe visit!
