Took me 2 years to lose the weight and keep it off. It wasn't the easiest journey, but if you're serious about changing your lifestyle (and body!), continue reading.

I mainly did a few things, but can be categorized into 2 main points :

1. Increase caloric burn

During MCO, as I was bored as hell haha, I would spend 1 - 1 and 1 and a half hours walking 🚶‍♀️. Just walking, not even running. I tried to hit 7k-10k steps each day. This greatly increased my daily activity and the calories I burned. I love this method as a)its quite low impact and I can do it everyday without getting tired and b)i love long walks. only downside is its quite time consuming. You can find activities you like (eg. dancing, badminton, gymming etc) and do them frequently to burn calories. Anything to get your body moving.

2. Decrease caloric intake

I generally eat 2 meals in a day only. Especially during MCO (which was when I lost almost 4kgs). The simplest way is to eat less, which I don't really recommend as its not quite sustainable. I did this method at 65kg and plateaued at 62kg for a few months as my body adapted to the caloric restriction. Another method to go about this is to eat cleaner (eg: consume fewer empty calories and eat nutrient dense food). I try my best to eat healthy foods. But this also means I don't feel guilty when I indulge once in a while.
