GAMIFYING my boyfriend’s birthday

hello :D

for starters, my boyfriend and i are both very indecisive, especially when it comes to choosing what to eat!

so i’ve came up with a way to tackle this for his birthday so that both of us can better #SavourTheMoment

this is planning without planning my boyfriend’s birthday at its finest~

HOW I DID IT:

1. split the day into categories

⏩️ i.e LUNCH, DESSERT, ACTIVITY

2. choose 2-3 options for each category and write it down in separate cards

⏩️ remember to put yourselves in your partner’s shoes and not write options that’s about u. it’s their special day after all

3. let your partner take their pick and both be surprised with what you’ll end up with!

HOW I UPGRADED IT THIS YEAR:

💪 knowing my boyfriend is more of a “quantity over quality” kind of person, i tried to incorporate that concept into his birthday this year!

💪 i TRIED to gamify it a little by asking him to complete a mission at each stage! after which i’ll reward him with a present!

however, i didn’t rly have time to prepare of different missions that he could complete himself and i just couldn’t wait to see his reactions for everything i got him!

i love this idea as we both didn’t feel pressurised to make a decision and left it all up to FATE!✨

at the same time, we can both be pleasantly surprised at what fate has chosen hehe
