The Magnolia Parks books by Jessa Hastings really took the bookish community by storm about a year ago. These BEAUTIFUL covers are what initially caught my eye, like have you seen anything so beautiful?! I have interacted with Jessa Hastings a few times across various social media(s) and she is the sweetest. I just love it when great people write great books and then get great attention from it!

Forewarning, this series has the most toxic relationships I have ever read about. It did take me a while to get into. After book 1 I wasn’t sure I was going to carry on with the series because of how much these characters’ actions peeved me, lol. But the further you get into the series, you’re provided more context.

It gives very much Gossip Girl, if it was set in London, and every single character is loaded.

I have taken a pause after book 3 because the ending of that book literally left me in shambles. IYKYK
