The Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi is quite possibly one of the most popular book series in the bookish community. So, I am sure you have seen it talked about time and time again!

Earlier this year I read the first four books (novellas included) in a matter of two-three days. Then I did this really dumb thing where I stopped at book four because I didn’t want to burn through it, I wanted to enjoy it. But here we are, months later, and I still haven’t completed the series. 🙁

This series is popular for very good reason. It is a YA (young adult) dystopian masterpiece. If you are chasing the nostalgia that The Hunger Games series and Divergent series provide, this will be up your alley!

We have a love triangle and loveable side characters. Then, my personal favorite, an FMC who finally realizes how powerful she really is.

I love Aaron Warner, that is all.
