I tried the Viral Gilmore Girls CoffeeCake Cookies

Hi everyone! Guess what! You know what I found out this morning? I aced a test! Not the kind of test you’re thinking, but those kinds you take when you’re not feeling so hot & you wonder if you might’ve aught yourself a little bug that rhymes with Bovid. You get me? I’m not sure I can say the word here on Lemon8 or if it is frowned upon? Anyway my entire household is positive and feel awful. So today, I was feeling particularly crumby but also felt stir crazy so I started perusing Lemon8 for recipes and stumbled upon this. I needed to find a recipe with ingredients I had on hand, because I certainly didn’t feel up to a curbside pick up. I didn’t want to have them delivered either because HELLO! We have all seen the cost of groceries these days! The thought makes me barf a little in my mouth tbh!

I was so exhausted from this illness, it only took me FOUR HOURS to make these simple cookies!! I have the recipe all figured out— the streusel topping needed a little measurement adjusting. I can post the recipe here if you all would like? Have any of you tried this viral trend? Was it all you hoped for?? To be honest… I give them a 6.5/10. Not bad but not at all what I’d been hoping for either!

Has anyone noticed that cases of you know what illness seem to be on the rise again? 🥺 I hope that this isn’t a foreshadowing of what our fall and winter will be looking like! I just wanna get better so I can get a pumpkin spice latte with my bestie!!
