Shiro-hige Cream Puff Factory is a popular pastry shop located in the Setagaya ward of Tokyo, Japan. The shop is known for its delicious cream puffs, which are made with high-quality ingredients and filled with a variety of flavored creams.

Shiro-hige Cream Puff Factory was founded in 1979 by the Tsuchiya family (sister-in-law of Studio Ghibli’s founder and director, Hayao Miyazaki) and it has since become a beloved destination for locals and tourists alike.

The cream puffs at Shiro-hige Cream Puff Factory come in a variety of flavors, including vanilla, chocolate, matcha, and seasonal fruit flavors. They are made with a light and airy choux pastry, which is filled with a rich and creamy custard or whipped cream. We ordered 4 types of cream puffs and ate at the table outside the shop when we were there! Each flavour is represented by the ornament on Totoro’s ear. The ones with a hat and yellow ribbon has a rotational flavour based on the season. We visited in winter, it was caramel cream!

In addition to their classic cream puffs, Shiro-hige Cream Puff Factory also offers a range of other pastries and sweets, such as eclairs, tarts, and cakes. They also have a small cafe area where customers can enjoy their treats with a cup of coffee or tea.

The shop's delicious and beautifully crafted pastries, combined with its charming atmosphere and friendly staff, made it a truly special experience for us!
