MY HAND HAD BROWN DOTS AFT CMG BACK FRM VIETNAM

Hello! I went to Vietnam 2 mths ago & i wanted to share this super interesting condition!! So i came back, and on the night i came back i noticed that only my left hand had like freckles all over.

At first i thought that it could be due to the constant exposure to the sun when i was there but it was weird bc it was only my left hand (see 2nd pic, my right hand was completely fine) and only on my hands… 😭😭 Everyone also thought the same and so many people asked me abt it bc it was q dark…

I went to a dermatologist (spent $300 :/ ) just to be told that i had pytophotodermatitis. This condition is when plant sap (like lime juice) or anyth lands on my hand and i get instant exposure to sunlight shhdhds so he said maybe while eating pho i helped people squeeze lime or smth and it got on my hand 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ which kinda makes sense bc my right hand is the dominant one LOL.

There isnt a medication for that bc its basically just freckles, and i can only use a whitening cream but i decided not to because it wasnt affecting me at all. There’s also no estimate on when it will go away, so he said that i could expect weeks to months.

Anyw for me it disappeared q fast, arnd 1 mth in total! So yeah i wanted to share this bc everyone arnd me was q puzzled and my hand looked DISEASED, but it’s rly nth to worry abt 😗 I hope tht if this happens to anyone i helped yall save $300 on dermatologist fees…
