Did not expect to be doing this in Japan 🤨

We made an extremely last minute decision to visit Mt Fuji in Japan (Kawaguchiko) and didn't manage to get any bus or train tickets!! We decided to show up at the station and PRAY for tickets. We got non-reserved tickets for the Fuji Excursion Line, so it would mean we'd either have to wait for a seat to be available, or stand/sit on the floor the whole way :')

🗻 How to get to Mount Fuji:

1️⃣ Take an expressway bus from Shibuya/Shinjuku/ Ikebukuro/Tokyo Stations (book them online!)

2️⃣ Take the Fuji Excursion Train from Shinjuku Station (book via Klook* or at a bigger train station)

*Klook tix seem to be booked out a month in advance, so plan early!
