[NEW] Cafe With Korean-inspired treats in the CBD

At all my CBD besties, I’ve got chu covered 💯🫶🏻

Introducing Snap Cafe, a quaint and minimalist cafe located in Telok Ayer. They serve korean-inspired pastries and delicious grab-and-go toasties for your breakfast or lunch fix 🍞

Here’s what I tried:

☁️ Sourdough Honey Baked Ham and cheese Toastie

If you’re looking for a savoury option, the toasties are the way to go. They have four toasties available and we opted for the Ham & Cheese toastie.

One word: Delicious. It’s a simple sandwich but the sourdough bread elevated it to a whole new level. They also used three types of cheese: mozzarella, gouda and cheddar 🧀

PLUS, you can order a half-sandwich if you’re just looking for a quick bite.

☁️ Soya Caramel Scone

Fun fact: The soya in this is soya sauce – which is super interesting and def caught our attention from the get go 🤩

This was my fave among the pastries and I would never have guessed that this was made with soya sauce. But everything tasted so good together 🤯🥰

☁️ Black Sesame Cheesecake

I’m not a cheese or cheesecake girly, but the black sesame was calling out to me. This cake was the crowd favourite between my friends.

It has a strong sesame taste and subtle hints of cheese. My favourite part was the crumble.

☁️ Sweet Potato Pound Cake

I know what you’re thinking, “Sweet potato in a pound cake?”. But once again, this combination worked out so well.

☁️ Dalgona Yoghurt Cup

The Dalgona Yoghurt cup was a mix of dalgona shards, granola and greek yoghurt. Interestingly, the dalgona shards fizzes in your mouth when combined with the yogurt. I lowkey thought I was trippin’ 👀

The flavour profile was pretty well balanced. But, we would have enjoyed it more if it had some fruit to cut through the sweetness.

☁️ Matcha Injeolmi Canele

This is defo for matcha lovers. It had a really strong matcha taste and mochi-like texture. This treat pairs well with their coffee and tea. Overall, we enjoyed it a lot.

☁️ Hotteok Sticky Roll

This is a cinnamon roll but hotteok-infused. TBH, this was my least favourite among the rest because it was quite dry.

☁️ Overall: Would go back for the toasties and the soya caramel scone!!!
