My first luxury purchase at 24!!

Hello Zesties! I recently added a big girl purchase to my small collection of bags so I was thinking to share with you guys what I have so far and what these bags mean to me 🥹

1) The Chanel Flap Phone holder with Chain

I actually didn’t purchase this! It was a graduation gift from my dad 🥹 ❤️ I treasure this bag so much I don’t ever carry it out. It means so much more to me than a bag. My dad really understands what I like even though we may not exchange many words, and this gift represents to me how proud he is of me.

2) Coach Mollie tote (in strawberry!)

When I first saw this bag on Tik Tok a few years ago I was FERAL for it. Coach was slowly phasing out this design and it was disappearing from stores. My friend went to Genting to help me hunt it down and I used my first baby intern pay to buy it 😂 The strawberry print is so flipping cute?! Prior to this, I was carrying $10-$20 shoppee bags (which btw is great too) so I considered this my first “proper” bag purchase. Definitely a milestone for me 🥹

3) Prada Buffalo Easy Shoulder bag

I’ve been looking all over for a cute second hand bag with a more unique design and this bag hit the jackpot. Firstly it’s calfskin leather (which I love the look of) and I love the rectangular shape and the long handle! It’s quite grungy actually and it was selling at a really affordable price. Definitely my most value for money purchase.

4) Longchamp Le Pliage City tote

Ah yes…. The Longchamp… I included this because I have a story to tell. I was a Longchamp hater for a long time! I’ve always thought it was a really aunty bag. Then one day I saw someone from my pole dancing class carrying this city tote which looked like leather?? I asked the girl about it and turns out it’s simply COATED canvas. I was so mesmerised by the colour and the structure of the bag (it was so sleek and looked so firm, unlike the floppy look of their cloth canvas bag). I subsequently got it as a birthday gift from my parents and it’s now my everyday work bag!

5) Goyard mini Anjou

Ah yes the GRAND FINALE and my FIRST luxury purchase at 24… A GOYARD! I really didn’t expect my first big girl purchase to be a goyard bag but my boyfriend who is a huge goyard fan was an ~influencer~. I was in Paris for holiday and we queued for a bit to enter the flagship Goyard store to help my bf’s mum look at some bags. I did not have any intentions to make a purchase tbh but I tried on the mini Anjou and I was possessed lmfao. The bag sparked joy fr. I immediately decided to buy it and I’m literally the most indecisive person on earth.
