new country, new me 👀

i decided to try my hand at a never strangers event two days ago. 😅

💡 this was their “friends” event, and i definitely got to meet people and make some friends (shout out to table 1)!

💵 i paid $48 for the ticket, which included a free drink—definitely justified since it was at avenue lounge, lmao.

✨ the deck of cards with prompts to ask your assigned table and the human bingo sheet were the highlights of the night!

😅 once you register, you get a qr code for a questionnaire, and your answers determine your match. the questions seemed a bit random, but at the end of the night, you receive your matches via sms and can meet them! honestly, the venue wasn’t the most conducive for mingling.

tl;dr: it was fun! i’ll probably go with a friend next time if i decide to do it again. 😆
