1) Make a plan & stick to it! Consistency is ๐Ÿ—๏ธ!

Stop changing up your workouts, figure out a meal plan that works and use it, donโ€™t stop and start.

Your plan should be 4-8 weeks long of the same workout routines, the same meals and the same habits. Yes, it gets boring but you need to develop consistency and discipline. Go even if you donโ€™t want to because you told yourself you would! You deserve it and I promise youโ€™ll feel better afterwards!

2) High Protein, Low Carb, Caloric Deficit. (This worked for me, it could possibly work for you but if not research something that will!) I ate in a caloric deficit, ate my protein, drank my protein, whatever I had to do I made sure I got that dang protein in, and went low carb! I cut back on rice, pasta and focused on protein mostly. BONUS: hereโ€™s how I work around my plate. I consume my protein first! My chicken, my steak, my meats! Then I make my way to my vegetables! yummy. Then I finish with my carbs/starch. By the time I get here Im full and I donโ€™t eat as much! When I eat out I split my meal in half and pack the rest to go right away so this way I donโ€™t over eat!

Also, DRINK A FULL GLASS OF WATER BEFORE A MEAL! trust me.

3) Take your vitamins! Itโ€™s possible you have some deficiency that is making it harder for you to lose weight! talk to your doctor and find out which daily vitamins would be good for you! I take a daily vitamin, fish oil and vitamin D. I also take magnesium triple complex and ashwagandha.

4) Obviously sis, DRINK WATER. enough said.

5) Again, obviously SLEEP!

6) Find friends with the same fitness goals!

Working out with someone and having someone to hold you accountable is always fun! BUT, if they give up you donโ€™t give up! You keep going, because even though itโ€™s fun to not do it alone, doing it alone is better than not doing it at all. You got goals babes!

7) Never, and I mean NEVER grocery shop hungry. You will be reaching for snacks.

8) Do not drink your calories! Watch those juices, gatorades and coffees! Opt for low calorie, sugar free drinks.. matter of factโ€” just stick to water ๐Ÿ™ƒ (but if you do drink other drinks sugar free low calorie, okay? Okay!)

9) It takes time! Weight loss is not an overnight success. Itโ€™ll take a few weeks before the changes start to show so enjoy the journey and make it fun!

10) Be so fr! One thing I wish I realized was that I wasnโ€™t going to look like the celebrities with the BBLs. I look like a woman who was overweight, had a baby, lost weight and is fine af! Be realistic. I have stretch marks, loose skin, and Iโ€™m still working on my body. Love yourself through it all and just know that your body will look like you and YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AND YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF WHO YOU WERE, WHO YOU ARE AND WHO YOU ARE YET TO BE!
