Ingredients
15 oz Canned peaches
3-4 tbsp Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Ground Nutmeg
1/8 tsp Ground Cloves
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 cup of Water
1 tbsp Butter
Pinch of salt
Cornstarch Slurry
1 tbsp Cornstarch
2 tbsp Peach Syrup
French Toast Batter
4 Large Eggs
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
8 slices Texas Toast Bread
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
Pinch Salt
Graham Crumble Topping
6 Whole Graham Crackers
Pinch of Salt
2 tbsp Sugar
2 tbsp Melted Butter
Directions
Graham Cracker Crumble
1οΈβ£ Preheat oven to 325 F.
Crust crackers into crumbs and add sugar, butter, and salt. Mix until well combined.
2οΈβ£ Place mixture onto a baking sheet and prep down to form crust. (This doesnβt have to be pretty at all because we will crumble everything once fully baked.) Bake for about 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
3οΈβ£ Set aside too cool before crumbing.
Peach Cobbler Topping
1οΈβ£ Add canned peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla extract, water, butter, and salt to a saucepan. mix well and bring to a simmer before turning heat to low.
2οΈβ£ In a small bowl add 2 tbsp of the saucepan liquid with 1 tbsp of cornstarch. Mix well until slurry forms and return mixture to the saucepan to help thicken.
French Toast Batter
1οΈβ£ In a bowl mix eggs, heavy cream, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
2οΈβ£ Heat a skillet and add butter.
3οΈβ£ Dip each slice of bread in the batter making sure to coat on both sides before adding to the buttered skillet.
4οΈβ£ Cook french toast on both sides until golden brown. Remove from skillet and repeat until all slices are cooked.
Assemble
1οΈβ£ Slice french toast diagonally and fan out on a plate.
2οΈβ£ Add peach cobbler topping all over the top and sprinkle with graham cracker crumble, whip cream, and serve!
