I honestly don’t know why I ever bought jam in the first place… 😂
Cut the preservatives and loads of added refined sugars & make it at home in no time with this easy, delicious recipe:
TRIPLE BERRY JAM:
- 2 c frozen berries (loving the brand in pic 4)
- 1/4 c maple syrup
- 1/4 c water
- 1tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
Combine all ingredients in a small pot. Bring to a rapid boil for 5-8 mins, smash it down slightly with potato masher or fork; reduce to low & simmer for 10-15 mins until liquid reduces to about 1/3. Remove from heat, berries will thicken into a jam consistency. Completely cool & store in airtight container/jar for up to 2 weeks.
If you’re feeling adventurous, boost the nutrients and texture with 1-2 Tbsp chia seeds after removing from heat. I haven’t tested chia seeds in my diet yet, but when I reintroduce them, this is the first recipe they will be going into! 💕🫐
