Homemade everything just tastes better, especially homemade jam vs store bought! Homemade jam doesn’t contain corn syrup, fake juices or artificial flavorings!
It only takes 3 ingredients to make homemade jam (I do not make mine with pectin I prefer it better that way) ⬇️
•Fruit of choice 4 cups (this one’s blackberry)
•1/2 a lemon freshly squeezed
•1 cup or (I use 1/2 cup) granulated sugar
Mesh up your fruit will it’s puréed or if you like chunks keep chunks, put it in a pan, squeeze in the lemon and add the sugar, bring to a boil for 5 minutes then lower the heat to low for 20-30 more minutes and waaaa-laaaa you have jam! (Put it in your jar & allow it to cool fully)
If you’re keep in on a shelf and not a fridge you need to give it a water bath for 20 minutes as well or if you’re keeping it in a fridge just put it right in once it’s cooled!
