<$10 desserts in town: AN ULTIMATE GUIDE!! 🤤💖🍰

as the person who always goes “dessert? 🤠” after a full ass meal, here are some of my favourites in dhoby ghaut, somerset and clarke quay:

📍DHOBY GHAUT

1️⃣ Edith Patisserie Cake Bar

this place is super near dhoby ghaut mrt but i think not a lot of ppl know about it. i’ve worked from here and it’s never too crowded! the lemon and strawberry loaf here were good and cost ~$5 each.

2️⃣ Nunsaram Korean Dessert Cafe Plaza Singapura 눈사람

bingsu in dhoby?? say no more ✋🏼 i forgot nunsaram was in plaza sing bc it’s in the upper floors of the new wing! the injeolmi bingsu cost around $12.90, but we usually split between 2-3 pax so it’s well under $10.

📍SOMERSET

1️⃣ KOOKS Creamery “The Nook”

i missed the OG kooks at cathay, so i was so happy to see it in 313 basement one day! their brown butter ice cream is a classic and together with the cookie cone, cost around ~$8.

2️⃣ Vanda Botanical Desserts (313@somerset)

the ice cream with mochi skin was pretty unique! it cost about $6-7 for one scoop with mochi skin.

3️⃣ HVALA @ 111 Somerset

a well-known, forever crowded spot. no pics but deserves to be on the list!

4️⃣ Genki Sushi 313@somerset

this is a wildcard option cos genki sometimes serves pretty legit seasonal desserts for a fraction of the price 🤪 the matcha soft serve i had was <$5!

📍CLARKE QUAY

1️⃣ Ceres

i only tried ceres this year - what was i doing w my life 🥲 the tiramisu ($7) was so good, i died… especially if you love one with a strong alcoholic base. the madeleines were rly impressive too, and i loved the overall coziness and aesthetic of the space!!

2️⃣ DOPA DOPA (South Bridge Rd)

gelato is simply the best. dopa dopa’s is v smooth and creamy!! 🍦 a single scoop will set you back around $5.50-7.50, depending on flavour choice and cone.

3️⃣ TSUJIRI The Central Store

this is slightly pricey but i don’t hesitate much when the matcha craving hits cos it’s too good 😔 the parfaits hover around ~$9-10, and soft serve cones around $6-7! they have so many ice cream/ drink variations and even CROFFLES!! 🧇 to save a bit of $, i do takeaway sometimes so they don’t charge me 10% for service charge lol.

4️⃣ Azabu Sabo Clarke Quay Singapore

azabu sabo + sitting by the river is my go-to combination. super worth with shopback voucher: single cup is $4.50 and double cup is $6.50 🤪
