here’s everything i ate recently + what i liked from each food spot! 🍽️👇🏼

1️⃣ Joo Bar

📍 Bugis

✨ the famous honey makgeolli is here in sg?!? 😱 the bar snacks & food here were AMAZING 👍🏼 we got the truffle fries 🍟, cheesy tteokbokki 🧀, fried chicken 🍗 & seafood pancake 🍤 EVERYTHING WAS YUMMY!!

2️⃣ Da Paolo Dempsey Restaurant & Bar

📍 Napier

✨ a romantic date spot 😍 the mains we got were meh (maybe because we aren’t fans of tomato & rocket veg) but the gelato was gooddd 😋🍨

3️⃣ Pasta & Co.

📍 Bugis/ Bencoolen/ Bras Basah

✨ tried 4 diff pastas — recommend the carbonara & pasta alla vodka 🍝! we got to choose our own pasta type & level of pasta cookedness(?) too 😆

4️⃣ Un-Yang-Kor-Dai Singapore

📍 Clarke Quay

✨ michelin star thai food at affordable prices 🤩 especially loved the crispy pork belly 🤤, grilled eggplant 🍆 & seabass tomyum coconut soup 🍲

5️⃣ Downstairs - Suntec City

📍 Promenade

✨ visited this place TWICE because it serves solid local/asian dishes 💯 we ate lu rou fan 🍚 & curry chicken 🥘 both times…

6️⃣ Rise Bakehouse @ TripleOne Somerset

📍 Somerset

✨ super aesthetic (pink 🌸) dessert cafe!! bakes were pretty looking but average tasting, worth a visit for the vibes & nice pictures 📸🙃 though

7️⃣ Joji’s Diner - Serangoon

📍 Serangoon

✨ well-known retro cafe 📻 serving western dishes 🍳 we liked the rosti & pancakes 🥞 but note the HUGE portions perfect for sharing 👍🏼
