Your mental health is so important and should be something that is constantly being cared for. Here are 3 habits I do every single day that has drastically improved my mental health. This also doesn't mean that I don't experience bad days because I definitely do, but making these habits a routine has pushed me to try even harder on those "bad days".
🥗🧆 Fuel your body
A lot of times we don't realize that the food we eat can also dictate our energy levels, how we feel internally. As much as I love my sugar and sweets, eating whole foods that are nutrient dense and keep my hormones balanced and leveled is more important to me so I prioritize that in my day to day routine.
🚴🏼♀️🧘🏽♀️ Move your body
Find an activity that you love to do, whether it's biking, walking, dancing, or yoga and choose that! Moving just 30 minutes a day can increase your happy hormones, make you feel good internally and is great for your overall health and wellness.
📓🙏🏼 Journal + Pray
I am not a religious person but I'm someone that does believe in God and spirituality and my faith is something that keeps me motivated and going. I do not go to church or anything so my form of prayer is through journaling and communicating how I feel, my intentions for the day and my goals.
