baked french toast 🍞

Sure you can cook French toast on a griddle, but have you tried to bake it before?

I found if I use stovetop my bread sometimes come out soggy and I need it so crisp like Cracker Barrel.

I attempted to bake it -and with a few adjustments I feel like next time will be even better!

All you need is a thick bread like brioche or Texas toast!

I preheat the oven to 400 and sprayed my pans liberally to prevent sticking!

Use your usual French toast recipe- eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and dip each slice into the mixture and onto the pan.

I would cook for 5 min each side and flip them. I did 10 and it seemed to be a bit too long!

They should come out nice and not soggy!!

Top with powdered sugar, strawberries, bananas and syrup! French toast is always a win for breakfast!
